Badminton Asia Forged New Alliances with E- Plus & Seri Mutiara

Badminton Asia has embarked on a new journey with the signing of two partnerships with South East Asia's leading management agency E-PLUS GLOBAL Sdn Bhd. and Seri Mutiara World Sdn. Bhd., a reputable real estate developer.

The signing ceremony with E-Plus Global and Seri Mutiara World was held simultaneously at Hard Rock Cafe, Kuala Lumpur, today (3rd of October 2017).

 

 

Putting the signatures on the dotted line were Badminton Asia’s President, Mr. Anton Aditya Subowo and E-Plus Global's Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Andrew Ching. E-Plus Global is one of South East Asia’s leading event companies having vast experience not only in producing events products but also providing innovative solutions to unforgettable experiences.

In the same ceremony, Badminton Asia also signed a partnership with Seri Mutiara World for long term Badminton development programme in Asia. Seri Mutiara was represented by YBhg. Datuk Benny Hoe, Group Managing Director and YBhg. Datuk Yee Tuck Sing, Chief Operating Officer. Seri Mutiara World is a real estate developer, which came on board to cooperate with Badminton Asia on various development programmes and to facilitate in providing world class training facilities for our members in future. This includes in providing Badminton Asia a premise for the secretariat that we could call “Home” one day. 

 

 

The signing ceremony with E-Plus Global and Seri Mutiara World was witnessed by YH. Dato’ Sri Mohamad Norza Zakaria, President of Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM), Mr. Thomas Lund, Secretary General of Badminton World Federation (BWF), Mr. Kim Hong-Ki Greg Ph.D, Secretary General of  Badminton Asia and Mr. Kenny Goh, our Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Anton Aditya Subowo described both the partnerships as a "win-win situation" that will benefit all parties.

“This newly forged cooperation and partnership will take Badminton Asia to greater heights in its aggressive drive to promote badminton in Asia. E-PLUS Global has been experiencing a rapid growth in exciting and memorable events at iconic venues, while Seri Mutiara World is a reputable developer who had a grand plan in Cyberajaya, and Badminton Asia is inclusive,” said Mr. Subowo.
 

 

"I believe Badminton Asia can be part of the growth as we continue with our aggressive approach to take the game to greater heights, what’s more when we are determined to make Asia the badminton bastion in the word.

"As everyone is aware Badminton Asia has embarked on a massive drive to bring the shuttle sport to every corner in the Asian continent and the development of the sport in the third world countries takes our priority in this aspect."

He hailed the both partnerships is based on "strong relationship and friendship" that will ensure a "win-win" situation and beneficial to all; Badminton Asia, E-PLUS Global and Seri Mutiara World.

 

 

"I am confident that through our efforts with E-Plus Global and Seri Mutiara World will be able to achieve and continue to achieve the desired results," added Mr. Subowo.

Today’s signing ceremony unveils the upcoming plans in the pipeline to promote the sport in Asia for enthusiast of all level and also the announcement of Koo Kien Keat as the high performance director for Badminton. He is formerly world number one men’s doubles player.
