The idea was "born" during a Badminton Asia development meeting held in Dhaka and in no time it became a reality - thanks to Badminton Asia's Development Manager Mr Thana Arakrishnan.

Emphasis on the course is the role of a coach; planning and preparations for coaching; technical aspects of badminton; physical preparations; fundamental sports science; tactics and its practical applications in a competition.

"It was a very fruitful course which gave me added knowledge on training. This will go a long way in my aspirations and vision to be a successful coach.

At the same time a six-day training stint is being held for senior and junior players from the Bangladesh national teams.
