Fourteen on course to be Badminton Asia Accredited Referee
It is another giant step forward for 14 candidates from 11 countries to achieve their dream and ambition to be a Badminton Asia Accredited Referee.
The 14 are currently attending a week-long Badminton Asia Referees Accreditation Course in Jakarta, Indonesia.
This batch made the grade for this course after successfully coming through the Referees Training Course held in Singapore last September.
India, Singapore and China have two candidates each while United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Nepal have a candidate each.
The course conductors are the experienced Mr Chua Soo Hock of Malaysia, Mrs Nahathai Sornprachum of Thailand and Datuk Anthony Linggian also from Malaysia.
Those who are successful in Jakarta will be classified as BADMINTON ASIA ACCREDITED REFEREE (Probation).
