Khunying Patama - Beyond Love & Passion for Badminton
According to the ‘B3 strategies’ of the Badminton Association of Thailand (BAT) Under Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King , which is :
- Badminton for Everyone
- Build World Champion
- Best-Practice Management
Khunying Patama is determined to do anything in making sure Thai athletes reaching their full potential whereby she is employing all methods she can to ensure that BAT will have the best athletes for the future of badminton in Thailand.
Khunying Patama Leeswadtrakul, the President of BAT, visited members in the various parts of Thailand to discuss any current issues they have, exchange ideas, and give some recommendations. Khunying Patama also played badminton with them and provided shuttlecocks in order to support young athletes, as well as, the sport of badminton. These visitations help strengthen the bond between BAT and its members. It is a good way for all concerned parties to meet and help each other develop badminton throughout Thailand.
Her passion and determination towards the sport seeing her being elected into BWF Council for the term 2017 - 2021. With her onboard the world body, badminton would have an additional "Helping Hand" in its desire to be amongst the top sport in the world; in terms of competitiveness and universality.
