Pakistan name four male players for Asian Junior Championships
Pakistan will not take part in the mixed team competition and will only be competing in the boys individual events at the SCG Badminton Asia Junior Championships 2016 in Bangkok next month.
The mixed team event will be played from July 9-12 while the individual events will be held from July 13-17 - all at the CPB Badminton & Sports Science Training Center in Bangkok.
Leading Pakistan's challenge is their leading junior player, Zohaib Khan Khalil, who hails from Peshawar.
Zohaib has good international exposure having played in a number of international tournaments in Sri Lanka, China and Malaysia.
The others in the team selected after a month-long training camp in Islamabad, are Aimar Jala, Shameer and Sharoz Jameel.
A total of 16 players from all over Pakistan took part in the one-month training camp to vie for a place in the team for the Asian meet.
