Press Conference - SCG Badminton Asia Junior Championships 2016
An official press conference for the SCG badminton Asia Junior Championships 2016 was held in Bangkok, Thailand. The function was officiated by Khunying Patama Leeswadtrakul, President of Badminton Association of Thailand (BAT). Badminton Asia was represented by Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Kenny Goh and Administrative and Events Manager, Mr. Chooi Weng Sheng.
The press conference was done in a friendly environment fit for a questioning and answering session, where the representatives was given the opportunity to highlight their organisational role and the expectation for the championships. The support from the title sponsor, SCG, and Sports Authority of Thailand, which also represented in the conference shows that Thailand is committed, motivated and determined to have this Championships an even greater success compared to last year, which Bangkok is also the host.
Badminton Asia is confident that with the cooperation given by BAT and various sponsors, this championships will stand out further not only in terms of the overall presentation but also in providing better and more conducive environment for the players to perform their very best to be the Champion of Asia.
Players from Thailand who will be playing in the championships were also present in the event.
With just 10 days away from the start of the championships, all preparation are in high gearing mode and this event will surely be a blast!
