BADMINTON ASIA CHAMPIONSHIPS 2022
The 2022 Badminton Asia Championships (BAC) is going to be held soon from 26 April to 1 May in Manila, Philippines.
Badminton Asia Championships formerly known as Asian Badminton Championships started in 1962 and have been held annually since 1991. The tournament is conducted to crown the best players in Asia. Top players from all over Asia will participate and compete for the individual titles in this event.
Effective from 2022 onwards, the World Ranking points awarded for the Badminton Asia Championships is the equivalent of a BWF Grade 2 - Level 2 tournament.
Previously, the BAC was held in Wuhan, China from 2015 to 2019. After a 2-year break due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the BAC is being held again. Currently, China holds the most medals throughout the event followed by South Korea and Indonesia.
