Justin also competed in the singles event, but made it only to the semifinals. He also reached the finals at the CELCOM AXIATA MALAYSIA JUNIOR INTERNATIONAL CHALLENGE 2019 with Fazriq, but was defeated by their Malaysian compatriots. By October of the year, he reached the semis for both singles and doubles at the WONCHEON YONEX KOREA JUNIOR OPEN INTERNATIONAL CHALLENGE 2019.

He finally won another title at the BADMINTON ASIA U17 & U15 JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS 2019 after defeating Hong Kong’s Jason Gunawan in Indonesia. He beat his opponent 21-17 12-21 21-12 to be crowned U-17 Champion. He ended the year with another title at the men’s doubles category at the YONEX - SUNRISE BANGLADESH JUNIOR INTERNATIONAL SERIES 2019.
